Hello world!

OH my God! I been neglecting my blog ! Where have I been all this time? Well, as part of me being a mommy and dedicating and spending time with my son, my work schedule has changed and is been hectic! While I've been gone, my life has suffered a lot of changes, from sleep schedule, to healthier eating habits, and learning ways to educate my son the smartest and better way. I joined a mothers group which has helped me tons in my journey as a new mommy.
My work schedule has changed drastically from afternoon to now working from 10pm to 5am. oh God! And my son is now almost 10 months! Can you believe it!? almost 1 year old! I remember me posting about my baby shower and look at me now! Posting about my baby boy not being a baby anymore! One of the exciting news I want to share with each one of you is that we joined the awesome idea of cloth diapering and I can't be any happier!
We are almost done breast feeding (my goal is 1yr old) and now doing this cloth diaper thing is making me feel every day of how secure I feel about choosing the best ways to raise my son. From feeding, to everything involving his well being. I am back and with even more ideas, product reviews and ready to share more experiences as a new mommy.
Remember to follow my blog and PLEASE leave me your comments below!!

 Much Love,

Citrus Lane baby box

So I recently subscribed to Citrus Lane baby box, and this is basically the same concept as Birchbox or any other sampling cosmetics box. I decided to cancel my Birchbox subscription because honestly I have tons of make up and it's not like if I need to sample anymore cosmetics. I can always go to Sephora and ask for samples when needed right?
Also, for me switching to a baby sampling box helps me a lot since I'm new at all baby things. So this is why I decided to stop getting cosmetics on the mail and start receiving baby products! I'm so excited !
So in the next couple months will be reviewing this great concept.
So bare with me and wait for those great reviews coming up!
Sebastian turned 5 months on the 16th and we are starting solids. I been reading a great book and have found valuable information on making my own homemade food and valuable kitchen aid tips.
Right now you can start your monthly subscription for less! Enter code CITRUSHALF4 at checkout and get the first month of your monthly subscription for only $12.50.

The book I'm reading is "Super Baby Food" a great book to use when starting solids. What books are you mamas reading and have helped you with your baby or babies? No only feeding related but overall?

Oh Fancy baby pocket cloth diapers!

So we are starting a whole new adventure, and it is cloth diapers. We decided to start using cloth diapers and try to go a little bit more on the green side. Plus, this brings me back memories from where I'm from (Mexico). I been trying to breastfeed and I feel good about it. 5 months and going strong. Some people try to convince me to stop doing it because of the convenience for me to have more time to do other things but I really love that bonding time with my baby when I'm nursing. I have 4 cloth diapers right now and my aunt bought baby Sebas another 3 that are on the way! Yay!
I was skeptical about buying Sebas Zebra print diapers but let me tell you, he rocks his Zebra diapers! I love my little munchkin so much! He is my life!
OhFancyBaby diapers have a variety of baby products, from cloth diapers, to nursing covers.

We had lots of fun during the holidays, but most of all we enjoyed our first Christmas with our baby boy. There are times where I forget the lucky I am to have a healthy baby and these are the moments I try to cherish the most. Baby Sebas was excited to see all our relatives too. How were you Holidays?!
